We Missed You! We Loved You! We Thank You! We Need You!
UPDATE: May 2nd, 2020

From day one of our company’s existence serving you and our local communities has been our number one priority. Through this tough time you have been there for us, but we have missed your smiling faces.

As we welcome you back into our boutiques we are taking every necessary step to protect our guests and associates. We want to offer you every opportunity to come see us, so we have also launched virtual styling and curbside pick-up.

Bottom line we missed you, and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces.

UPDATE: April 5th, 2020

Dear Altar'd State Family,
We are continuing to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19. Our number one priority here at Altar’d State is our associates and guests and we are making all decisions with you at the forefront.

While we have already taken a number of actions to support our people, guests, and vendors, we are taking more measures to support our Altar’d State family in the best way possible.

• We have extended our temporary store closure and plan to re-open each store when deemed safe. All full-time store associates will continue to be paid thru our June 5th pay date, even if our stores remain closed.
• Altar’d State will continue to provide benefits for all qualifying associates.
• Our Leadership Team has already reduced their salaries by 20 percent, and all home office associates have reduced their salaries to help during this time.
• We have always supported our associates through hard times via our Flutter Fund and our founders have recently added additional money into this Fund so that we can continue to assist our associates who are in need.
• While our boutiques are closed, our website is still available. We are so grateful to our distribution center associates for their work and dedication through this time. For their safety we have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to ensure the protection of our distribution center associates.

In these challenging times I go back to my rock, Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. I firmly believe we will get through this. We have faced adversity before and, unfortunately, will face adversity again. We’re all in this together. Please use this time to take care of yourself and your loved ones. Your health and safety is our number one concern.

Our family is here to lift you up in difficult times like these. We encourage you to submit your prayer requests digitally via our website and look to us socially for the encouraging word you or a loved one may need.

God is good!

UPDATE: March 29th, 2020

Dear Altar’d State Valued Guest,

Since we announced the immediate closure of all our boutiques nationwide, the COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened in the United States of America. Our original intent was to stay closed through March 28th and re-open our boutiques to provide a sanctuary for our associates and guests to return to. Our team will continue to monitor the situation and make the best decisions possible for our Altar’d State Family. We know that each of you have been affected by this global crisis, and we hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

In these challenging times I go back to my rock, Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. I firmly believe we will get through this stronger together and encourage you to use this time to love on those closest to you. We will come back stronger and better than ever.

We’re all in this together. Our family is here to lift you up in difficult times like these. We miss your smiling faces. We encourage you to submit your prayer requests digitally via our website and look to us socially for the encouraging word you or a loved one may need.

Sincerely,
Aaron Walters

Original COVID-19 Announcement

As Chairman & CEO, it’s my job to do the right thing for our Altar’d State family of guests and associates and I believe it is in your best interest to minimize exposure. Therefore, I have made the tough decision to close all boutiques effective today through March 30th. We want to take care of our Altar’d State family as best as we can; therefore, all associates will receive pay for scheduled hours during this time. My hope is that this spread is contained and we return to normal faster, but our team will continue to monitor and make the best decisions possible for our Altar’d State family.
